Why We Belong

Temple Beth David is a Beit Midrash, a house of study, a Beit Tefilah, a house of prayer, and a Beit Knesset, a house of gathering.

It is a community, a place to feel welcomed and supported by caring friends. It is a place to study, to learn and to question your beliefs. It is the physical presence of Judaism in our towns, where our families go to worship and to be with other Jews. It is a place to seek the guidance and teachings of our rabbis.

It is a center for Jewish living and a bridge to our past, a place to connect.

60th Anniversary Video - Love and Community

As part of the celebration of the temple’s 60^th anniversary, several students in our Double Chai classes recently interviewed four long-time temple families. In the first of these two videos, created by former Board member David Lapp, the congregants speak about the sense of love and community that they feel as members of Temple Beth David.
